According to Sunny, a question about the idea of the name of SNSD is always something that is often asked by some media. " I was given that question, beginning when we decided to give the name of our group . When we did our debut as well as the time passed, the question was often asked almost every week , " she said .
When the debut of SNSD, Sunny and other members already feel confident that their girlband group will continue to live. They still hope to continue along in a very long period of time.
" We are always thinking about changing it for years and we grow into more mature. But one thing remains the same, namely, as long as there are women in our midst , SNSD will continue to exist, " she said as quoted by Okezone.com.

When Sunny was given a question "how long the name of Girl 's Generation will last", she answered with no definite answer. There's only one answer to that question, is that "We are Girl's Generation.. so we will continue like that. And I sincerely hope that I will continue to Girl's Generation."
